It 2009 Jeff Lynne once again steped into the producer's role for 5 Songs for Regina Spektor. It came to this collaboration because Regina Spektor was very impressed of the sound of Tom Petty's Highway Companion album and she wanted to try Jeff Lynne as a producer.

The Songs Blue Lips, Folding Chair, Genius Next Door and Wallet can be heard on the standard edition of Far. The Song The Sword & The Pen is only available on the special edition with bonus DVD.
